Microsoft announced new services that will provide greater flexibility and value for Skype for Business users.
Skype and the Cloud, together at last. Cloud PBX allows companies to shift on-premises instances of Skype for Business into the Cloud. No longer do you need two systems (one on-site for real-time applications like voice and instant messaging, and one for email, file sharing, and calendar).
Skype Meeting Broadcast
One platform for every meeting. Skype Meeting Broadcast allows for up to 10,000 meeting attendees to join from virtually any browser or device.
The best of both worlds! You can already join a meeting from your PC or mobile device; now, with PSTN Conferencing, you can dial into a meeting from a traditional phone, too.
Currently only available in the US, but with plans to expand to other markets soon, PSTN calling allows Office 365 customers to subscribe to Microsoft managed calling plans and phone numbers.
