The IT world has always moved fast!

You will often find you can barely master one thing before you need to begin implementing the next. Microsoft is no different; they do not rest on their laurels. They are perpetually looking for ways to improve and generally streamline the capabilities of how we use and license their applications.
One such application is Microsoft Teams. I’m sure I’m not the only one that originally wrote it off as an unnecessary re-branding of Skype. However, my tune changed fast. I found myself so thankful that Teams was implemented as the gateway to our SharePoint sites and collaboration tools. I became more productive by effortlessly transitioning between email, chat, phone, and video. File collaboration and data sharing became natural. Most importantly, a single screen allowed me to access the tools, data, and applications.
This brings me back to where we are today. A worldwide pandemic has forced many of us to work from home. As we begin to reopen and return to some sense of normalcy, we must expect that a large percentage of the workforce will be working remotely at least some portion of the time. A secure, low cost collaboration solution exists that will actually allow your staff to be more productive working remotely and give your organization a competitive edge.
Thankfully, Microsoft moves fast!
