Delivery: In-person, Instructor-led Classroom delivery
The Lean IT Foundation training is two days. During the training, you will learn the fundamentals of Lean and how to apply Lean in an IT domain. In the training you will practice with exercises to build hands-on skills. The training will introduce you to the softer aspects of Lean IT like change approaches and how to change people’s behavior and attitude. All the exercises are related to ICT, but no technical IT knowledge is required.
This course is delivered using an exciting case study designed to further enhance the candidates understanding of Lean IT. Students who have attended this course are prepared to successfully take the associated Lean IT Association Foundation certification exam which is a requirement for attending any of the further Lean courses available in this track.

Students will receive a Lean IT Foundation classroom workbook containing all of the presentation materials, the case study, the book Lean Thinking and sample exam questions.
Reference Materials: Lean Thinking, Womack & Jones.
Prerequisites: There are no pre-requisites for this course, although a basic knowledge of IT concepts will be helpful.

The ITIL (IT Infrastructure Library) series are important components of improved business processes by providing a framework of best practice guidelines and approaches intended to facilitate the delivery of high quality information technology services.
The Foundations Certificate enables people to understand the terminology used within ITIL. It focuses upon foundation knowledge with regard to the ITIL Service Support and Service Delivery sets, as well as covering generic ITIL philosophy and its background. It is a prerequisite for the Practitioner’s and Manager’s Certificates in IT Service Management.
From there, there are two tracks:
Service Lifecycle track – Focus is on the different aspects of the Lifecycle.
Service Capability track – Focus is on the different job role clusters across the Lifecycle.
